Eco-lighthouse certification

We certify all our hotels in Norway with Eco-lighthouse. Thon Hotels is one of Norway’s largest hotel chains and we have a responsibility to contribute to protecting the environment. We have over 2,6 million guest nights each year, and by preparing the way for environmentally sound consumption, reducing waste levels and saving energy, we are making a considerable environmental investment.

Energy savings

Energy savings

The Olav Thon Group, which Thon Hotels is a part of, has initiated a comprehensive energy saving project for our hotels in Norway, led by Enova. This has so far resulted in annual savings of 26.4 GWh. We are saving the environment without it impacting on the comfort of our guests. In addition, the chain has had a costs saving of more than NOK 20 million.
