We cooperate with First Hotels

Thon Hotels and First Hotels have signed a cooperation deal in Scandinavia. The two chains will collaborate on areas in sales, distribution and marketing, starting in January 2010. Together Thon Hotels and First Hotels can offer over 120 hotels in Scandinavia and Benelux.

The Norwegian Football Association

The Norwegian Football Association (NFF) and Thon Hotels entered into a long-term collaboration in 2007. Thon Hotels wants to contribute to Norwegian sports and Norwegian football, as we understand that we have many common values. We want to support a sport that encompasses all areas of society and age groups, and which contributes to commitment and good experiences.

Toppserien

Thon Hotels is the main sponsor for the Norwegian Premier Division women’s football. The contract helps to strengthen financial predictability in the women’s premier league, which in its turn contributes to positive organisational and sporting development in the clubs.

The Norwegian Ski Federation Freestyle

Thon Hotels sponsors the Norwegian freestyle twin-tip team. Twin-tip is becoming one of Norway's biggest winter sports for kids and is a good fit with Thon Hotels' values and desire to focus on activities for children and youth.

Basecamp Spitsbergen

Thon Hotels cooperates with Basecamp Spitsbergen on Svalbard. The cooperation means Thon Hotels can offer clients unique, adventurous events travels, everything with an eco-friendly attitude and the history of Svalbard in mind.

Bocuse d'Or Norway

Thon Hotels is the main sponsor for Bocuse d'Or Norway. The collaboration is used internally at Thon Hotels both in terms of training and motivation with a main focus on our Thon Conference hotels.

AVIS

Participants in Thon Member enjoy discounts in Norway and abroad from AVIS car rental. AVIS is a service partner who covers all areas in car rental. Its high quality of products and services, availability and productivity guarantees our customers a product that will meet their requirements and expectations.

The Norwegian Tennis Association

We collaborate with the Norwegian Tennis Association (NTF) and organise, among other things, tournaments at Skeikampen on an annual basis. The Norwegian Tennis Association was founded in 1909. NTF is an association of the teams or groups of teams in the Norwegian Confederation of Sports who play tennis.

Golf

We collaborate with several golf clubs, among them Skeikampen Golf and Miklagard Golf. This enables us to offer our guests excellent packages combining hotel accommodation and golf.

Den Norske Studentersangforeningen

The Olav Thon Group supports Den Norske Studentersangforening, the Norwegian student choral association. Den norske Studentersangforening is both a very successful man’s choir with high ambitions, and an association that takes care of a rich musical tradition that stretches back to the 19th century period of national romanticism in Norway.

TusenFryd

We collaborate with the TusenFryd theme park to offer our youngest guests a day out they won’t forget! The TusenFryd theme park at Vinterbro in the municipality of Ås kommune outside Oslo was officially opened on 11 June 1988. The park currently offers a total of 33 different attractions.

Bjørneparken

The Olav Thon Group supports Bjørneparken (The Bear Park). This is the place to spend hour after hour in the wild nature close to the animals, or you can go for short walks and appreciate the peace, quiet and beauty of the surroundings.

Thon Shopping

Our Thon Members can buy a gift card offering bonus points at Thon Shopping. Thon Shopping operates a total of 22 shopping centres, 3 of which are in Sweden, 4 in Bergen, 1 in Haugesund, 1 in Molde, 1 in Kristiansand and 12 in the eastern Norway region around Oslo.

Tanumstrand Hotel

In order to offer our clients more variation, we cooperate with Tanumstrand Hotel in Sweden on conferences. Tanumstrand Hotel is idyllicly located by the archipelago of Bohuslän, and has capacity for organizing conferences for up to 1000 participants.
