- Finnmark county is an important destination for Thon Hotels. It is always a pleasure to open a brand new hotel, says CEO of Thon Hotels, Mr. Morten Thorvaldsen. – Northern Norway is a region Thon Hotels is focused on, and we are opening three hotels in Tromsø, Alta and Kirkenes during a three-week period this spring.
Mrs. Hilde Bjørkli will be the General Manager of Thon Hotel Alta. She comes from the position as Marketing Manager at Finnmark Reiseliv. Thon Hotels is now represented with two hotels in Alta; brand new Thon Hotel Alta and Thon Hotel Vica and together these two hotels can offer 170 rooms.
Thon Hotel Alta will have two meeting rooms with a capacity of 70 people
