At Restaurant Bojer we use first-class ingredients prepared with great prediliction for the trade. The menu varies according to seasons, and we wish to serve you whatever suits the season best. The traditional "Lofotfiske", fishing for winter cod, is an institution and it is only natural that winter cod is on the menu during this season. In the summer and during the autumn, when Lofoten is at its lushest, you can for instance find fresh pollock, monkfish or Lofot lamb on the menu. We also pay our respect to old traditions by using ingredients which traditionally was used as barter during the great export of stockfish from Lofoten to Europe.
Our ambition is to pass on several layers of impressions, and give you a genuine and extensive culinary experience you will not be forgetting anytime soon.
The breakfast at Thon Hotel Lofoten was awarded third place in the Twinings Best Breakfast Awards Norway 2011. We offer an extended breakfast buffet with both hot and cold dishes, several types of bread, home-made cold cuts and more, where we make use of local suppliers to a great extent. At our breakfast chef's counter you can get freshly fried bacon and compose your own omelette which our chef will prepare for you.
