Parking
There are two parking garages right by the hotel. City Park is localised right by Tinghuset (the courthouse) in Bergen, and Klostergarasjen has an exit about 50 metres from the hotel. Entrance to Klostergarasjen is down at Nøstet in Bergen. The garages offer pricing by 24-hour periods and by the hour.
Arrival by train
The railway station in Bergen is about 1 kilometres from the Thon Hotel Bristol. The station is easily accessible by foot, but if you have heavy baggage, taxi is recommended. If you want to walk, go to Strømgaten, then along Smålungeren to Festplassen. From there it's easy to find the hotel.
Arrival by Flybuss, the airport express bus
The airport express bus stops only 100 metres from Thon Hotel Bristol. The bus stop is outside Hotel Norge. It takes about 3 minutes to walk from the bus stop to the hotel.
Arrival by public transport
Within Bergen municipality there is a fixed fare of NOK 24 per ride. All buses stop by the Bus Station, but there are severel stops in the city centre as well. The most common stops are Bryggen, Småstrandgaten and Christies gate.
