Arrival by train
The central station of Bergen is situated about 1 - 1.5 kilometres from Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz. You can easily walk to the hotel, but if you have heavy baggage, taxi is recommended.
If you want to walk to the hotel, go to Strømgaten, then Kong Oscars gate until you get to Vetrlidsallmenningen, which is nearby Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz.
Arrival by Flybuss, the airport express bus
The airport express bus stops only 350 metres from the hotel. The bus stop is at the end of Bryggen in Bergen, right below Bryggen Museum and St. Mary's Church. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the bus stop to the hotel.
Arrival by boat
If you arrive by boat from other places in Norway, you arrive at Strandkaiterminalen. If you want to walk to the hotel from there, you continue throughout Bryggen and take the last street to the right before the Hanseatic buildings.
Arrival by public transport
All buses stop at the Bus Station, but you can also find bus stops in the city centre. The most regular stops are at Bryggen, in Småstrandgaten and in Christies gate. For timetables and route planner, visit Rutetelefonen.
