Airplane
You can go by plane to Alta Airport, and by bus or car from Alta to Kautokeino. Driving from Alta to Kautokeino takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes by car. You can also go by plane to Enontekiö - Kautokeino Saami Airport in Finland. From there it is about a 1 hour drive to Kautokeino.
Bus
There are direct bus connections to Kautokeino from Alta and Karasjok. Both bus routes stops at Thon Hotel Kautokeino.
