The hotel opened 1st November 2009 and has 100 rooms, most of them with a view over the sea. The hotel consists of two buildings joined together by a glass house: "Brygga" is a renovated clipfish dock from 1915, while "Wesselhuset" is a new building.
The hotel offers free shuttle transportation Monday to Friday between the hotel and Kristiansund Airport, as well as nearby companies.

We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at our restaurant, and can offer a varied menu with a touch of local tradition. At conferences or other events you can select from several exciting menus. During the summer season you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal at our outdoor setting.

Thon Hotel Kristiansund has the most modern conference rooms in town, and have capacity for up to 280 delegates. Our conference rooms are suitable for most types of events and have state of the art technical equipment.

Kristiansund and the surrounding area offers a multitude of exiting activities. Visit the old fishing village on the island Grip or explore the wild Atlantic scenery and the areas coastal history. Kristiansund is ideally located for a tour on the magnificent Atlantic Road (Atlanterhavsveien.) The Atlantic Road winds its way along the coast between Kristiansund and Molde. Make sure to stop and admire the unique scenery.
Getting there
It takes approximately 10 minutes to drive to Kristiansund city centre, or 5 minutes with the bay ferry. The airport express buss stops by the hotel.
