The hotel occupies a central position in relation to Oslo's northern access routes, 10 minutes from Oslo city centre. The hotel is easy to get to from Trondheimsveien, Strømsveien and Østre Aker vei. We can offer free parking in our own indoor parking with direct access to our reception, or in one of our three outdoor car parks.
Renovation at the hotel
We are currently renovating the hotel, and will open 66 new rooms in August 2012.
Food and drink at the hotel
Our restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and an à la carte menu. Our menu and lunch buffet varies according to the seasons, and you will find dishes inspired by both international and regional cuisine. We only use the highest quality seasonal ingredients, and the Statsraaden Restaurant is a popular choice for business lunches and dinners.

Activities and other things to do at the hotel
The hotel is located in north-east Oslo, forming an excellent base for travellers with business in Økern, Helsfyr and Groruddalen. Bjerke Racetrack, Veitvet Bowling Centre, Vallhall Arena and Valle Hovin is within short distance from the hotel. There is also easy access to Oslo city centre with its shops and such attractions as the Norwegian Opera, the Royal Palace, Aker Brygge and Akershus Fortress.
