Thon Hotel Lofoten opened in March 2009, and is connected directly to Lofoten Culture Centre. The is situated on the waterfront at Svolvær, and is the perfect base for exploring the fantastic scenery in the area around Lofoten.
Food and drink at the hotel
Restaurant Bojer overlooks the Svolvær waterfront on the town square and emphasises fresh local ingredients such as skrei (large cod), dried cod, fresh fish from local fishermen, whale, local cheeses and Lofoten lamb. There is open air dining during the summer months.

The hotel is the perfect base for getting to know Lofoten better. You can join a number of activities, including whale safari, ocean fishing and restaurants. Or what about experiencing the Northern Lights?

Our guests have free access to the gym Friskhuset Svolvær which is situated about 200 metres from the hotel. Entrance cards for the gym can be picked up in our reception.
