Travelling to Lofoten
There are several exciting travelling opportunities when going to Lofoten, both for individuals and groups.
You can fly to Svolvær via Bodø from several of the major airports in Norway. The flight Oslo - Bodø - Svolvær takes for instance 2 hours and 20 minutes.
- Airplane and boat
A popular way of travelling to Lofoten is by going to Bodø by airplane and continue by boat. From Bodø you can go to Svolvær by passenger express boat or Hurtigruten, The Norwegian Coastal Voyage, which both dock by the quay at Thon Hotel Lofoten. This way you get to see the beautiful Vest Fjord and the "Lofoten Ocean".
- Airplane and bus
You can also fly directly to Harstad/Narvik Airport Evenes, also known as Lofoten International Airport. From Evenes you can go by bus and experience the magnificent landscape along the road. Groups can also go by boat part of or the whole distance.

Arrival by plane
There are no bus connections to and from Svolvær Airport. Taxi takes about 5 minutes. Airport express bus and local busses to and from Evenes Airport stop right by the hotel.
Arrival by boat
Passenger express boats to and from Bodø, and Hurtigruten, The Norwegian Coastal Voyage dock at the hotel quay.
