Thon Hotel Gildevangen offers a modern atmosphere in a historical building from 1908. The hotel is newly refurbished, and has 163 non-smoking rooms suitable for both business travellers and holiday guests.
Parking
There are public parking spaces on the street right outside the hotel, and at Trondheim Central Station which is situated only 300 metres away from the hotel.
Food and drink at the hotel
A healthy breakfast buffet is served every day in our breakfast room. The buffet contains a wide selection of cold and hot dishes, fresh fruit and a selection of organic products.
Thon Hotel Gildevangen can also offer a tasty evening buffet which is included in the price. The evening buffet is available Mondays to Thursdays, from 17.00 to 20.00. Here you will find bread, spreads, waffles, beverage and a hot dish. The evening buffet available all year, except for the summer season and public holidays, including the day before.

The hotel is located in the centre of Trondheim, forming the perfect base for shopping, restaurant visits and nightlife. It is only a short step to Nidaros Cathedral, Munkholmen, Bakklandet, the Norwegian Crown Regalia exhibition, Rockheim and other renown attractions.
