If you enjoy good dining with good wines, then a visit in the bodega in Thon Hotel Skeikampen is a well spent time.

In the 1960's the owner of the Thon Hotel Skeikampen; Alf Chr. Anderssen built up a wine collection of over 4000 bottles of vintage wine in the hotel. Mr. Anderssen was a well known, and well used, wine specialist.

Today, the hotel has appx. 1500 bottles in storage, and many of them are to be found on the general wine list. The oldest wines in the bodega is not for sale, so the wine list is today influenced of wines from all over the world from the 1990's and forward.

The wine list from the hotel today consists of both red and white wines. There are also most of the frensh wines, but quite a few wines from Spain and the new over seas regions as well.
