About Thon Hotels

When Olav Thon founded Rainbow Hotels in 1989, the idea was to provide centrally located bed and breakfast hotels at reasonable prices. However, as the chain expanded to include other types of hotels it was necessary to expand the concept. Following thorough rebuilding and reprofiling, the hotels have now become Thon Hotels and the chain offers three concepts: Thon Budget, Thon City and Thon Conference. Thon Hotels constitute an integrated range of products satisfying all requirements and suitable for any occasion.
