Fish for your own dinner
In Lofoten, you can go fishing on a traditional fishing boat. The tour ends at Thon Hotel Svolvær’s fish processing plant, where the fish is delivered and prepared. In the evening, you get to enjoy a three-course dinner with your own self-caught fish.

Maintain your exercise routine at Thon Hotel Lofoten. All hotel guests have free entrance to Health Fitness in the centre of Svolvær, around 500 metres from the hotel. This modern fitness centre has all the strength training and workout equipment you need. You can also attend group classes here.

Breakfast
Enjoy a nice, long breakfast with beautiful views of the sea. The buffet offers you a choice of all imaginable hot and cold breakfast dishes. Enjoy different types of coffee, tea, juice and of course, a sweet treat to end your meal. Many of the vegetables and herbs used are grown in the hotel's own rooftop greenhouse.
Sauna
After a long day of activity, you can kick off your shoes, get into your swimwear and warm up in the floating sauna right outside the hotel. Here you can relax after an action-packed day outdoors, whether you’ve been on a fishing boat, rib boat tour, paddled between ice floes or climbed Svolværgeita. Jump into the brisk water from the sauna dock or diving board on the roof of the sauna. Warm up in the sauna with views of the fjord or enjoy the sun from the roof of the sauna, while waving at the ferries as they go past. The floating sauna is an experience you won't want to miss.

Get in shape while staying at the hotel. The hotel gym is located on the second floor. and is fully equipped with free weights, exercise machines, kettlebells, bicycles, treadmills and a rowing machine.
