Brewed with 100% Belgian hops, the association “Belgian Hops” certified Thonner’ke with the gold label. All Belgian hops are grown in family businesses, with the expertise of several generations with the result of high quality hops.

Of course, this is happening in Belgium, where beer is a synonymous for the country. For Belgian people, beer is part of their identity and has a historic importance. Did you know that UNESCO inscribed Belgian beer culture in the list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity in 2016?
Why offering our own beer Thonner’ke to our guests?
“Because we want to surprise our customers and connect our international guests to a local experience. Furthermore, we want to support local companies, in this case the microbrewery Den Triest in Flanders, 25 km outside of Brussels. The brewery emerged from the passion for beers of the owner,” says Hans Van der biesen, General Manager at Thon Hotel EU & Assistant Area Director Benelux.
