Activities for children

Pirbadet – a place for the whole family

If you like swimming, we recommend Pirbadet. As Norway’s largest indoor swimming pool, Pirbadet offers something for most requirements: from children’s pools and sports pools, to wellness pools and health baths. A climbing wall, diving tower and separate wellness department can also be found here. The aquatic complex is located on the edge towards the Trondheimsfjord in Brattøra and has a great view of the fjord. Some people refer to the facility as a "swimming cathedral".

Leo’s Lekeland – activities for both young and old

Take your children to Leo’s Lekeland where they can explore fun slides, jump high on trampolines or maybe just let loose in the ball room. They also have their own separate section for the youngest children, where there are many exciting activities and challenges. Lekelandet also takes good care of adults with comfortable sofas placed around the play centre, free WiFi and reading material. The play equipment is also designed so that adults can also participate in the play.

Leo’s Lekeland is open every day, all year round.

Lerkendal Stadium – take the whole family to a football match

On the outskirts of Trondheim city centre lies Lerkendal Stadium - the home ground of RBK. Take the whole family to a football match and have a bite to eat at the family restaurant that opens 3 hours before the match. You can also take a tour of the stadium. Here you will hear about the highlights and history of the football team, and get to know the coach and players.
