Mayonnaise: Regular or vegan

Now let’s talk about mayonnaise and how incredibly easy it is to make at home. With mayonnaise, you also have the perfect base for other dressings. Whether you want to prepare it with eggs or a vegan version, Filip teaches you the tricks you need to know.


  • 1 whole egg, 1 egg yolk, 1 egg white or 40 g chickpea water
  • 1 heaped tsp mustard
  • 1 level tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3-4 dl neutral oil


  1. Put the base of your choice together with everything except the oil in a suitably wide container with a little depth, so you can use the hand blender.
  2. Pour the oil over the mix and put in the hand blender.
  3. Start it, let it mix and carefully lift the hand blender so that the oil on top is also mixed in.
  4. Finally mix with a spatula and season to taste.
