Check out in the Thon Hotels app
As a THON+ member, you can pay and check out of your hotel room with your mobile phone - completely contactless!
If you stay with us and have downloaded the Thon Hotels app, you will receive a push notification on the day of departure that allows you to check out of your room without going through reception. Here you can add what you have taken from the minibar and then pay for your stay.
Drop queue
If you check out via the app, you don't have to queue at reception on departure. At a time when people want to limit physical contact with others, we hope and believe that digital checkout will help make living with us feel extra safe.
The function is currently available to those who have booked one room. If you have booked more rooms, please check out at reception.
Easy and fast payment
In the Thon Hotels app, it is quick and easy to pay for your stay. Take a picture of your bank card to enter the details. If you wish, we will store your card details so that they are ready for your next stay.

Where do you hand in the room key after checking out and paying in the app?
The key card is handed in at reception on the way out.
Can I check out at reception if I wish?
As a guest, you choose whether you want to check out physically at reception or via mobile. It is entirely optional.
Where can I find a receipt for my stay if I check out via the app?
Under “My stays” you can click on “Previous”. Here are receipts for overnight stays at Thon Hotels. Click on “Download receipt” or “Send order to my e-mail” for the relevant stay.
