Positive experiences from OUS
Oslo University Hospital chose Thon Hotels to hold a meeting in early May and tells the following about the event and infection control:
- We were welcomed by several nice and friendly conference hosts at Thon Hotel Opera. They had an positive attitude, helpful and service-minded.
Disinfectants was placed in several places both in the common areas and just outside the conference room, and it was great that we got an extra large room even though we were not many participants.
Instead of a buffet, a tasty 3-course lunch was served in the hotel restaurant Scala, where all participants had a good distance to each other. The waiters were nice and very helpful.
At each seat in the conference room, a plate was wrapped beautifully in cellophane. This was a great surprise as you can't have regular break snacks in the break area. It was nice that the two groups that visited this day were placed on different floors so that there were not too many people in one place. We were very well taken care off.
