The ethical codes of conduct are based on the Olav Thon Group’s vision, purpose and shared values. This document describes the group’s ethical philosophy and sets out some frameworks for what is perceived as responsible behaviour. This is important to our employees, guests/customers, partners, suppliers, business associates and society as a whole, as it contributes to mutual respect and trust that is important for conducting business practices – today and in the future.

Supplier follow-up
The Olav Thon Group purchases goods and services for NOK 3-5 billion a year and has a great responsibility as a purchaser. Responsible procurement is an increasingly important focus area, and the Group strives to achieve this through the following measures:
- A procurement policy, which sets requirements for responsible procurement
- In addition, we have a set of ethical requirements that place strict requirements on all suppliers and subcontractors, including their focus on, and continuous work with, human rights, working conditions, the environment and anti-corruption.
- An annual evaluation of a selection of the Olav Thon Group’s suppliers, with emphasis on their work with ethics and social responsibility.
