Rooms for everybody

At the Thon Hotel EU, the customer with specific needs is at the centre of our concerns. That is why the hotel has been designed considering the needs of everyone. We want to provide an excellent service to all our clients. This means to adapt to the needs of every person and treating everybody with respect.

Reception and public areas

In order to allow everyone to feel welcome at check-in and check-out, the reception desk has a counter height of 80 cm. A wheelchair ramp is installed in the lobby to facilitate access for clients. All corridors are more spacious and the doors of the ground floor are fully automatic.

Accessible rooms

Located near the lifts and in the heart of large corridors, the spacious rooms are equipped with doors with two lights, one of which is 1.30 m high. Some of the rooms have twin beds in case a guest with reduced mobility is travelling with a personal care assistant or friend.

Bathrooms have also been designed to provide the customer with a better experience. They have an open shower with built in shower seat and a support bar. Thus, our guests with reduced mobility will be able to wash safely and without any barrier.

Conference facilities

Looking at the conference facilities, Thon Hotel EU provides modular and spacious conference rooms. These are also equipped with ramps to facilitate access if necessary to the podium.

Restaurant

The Twelve restaurant offers guests tables of different heights (75-61-51 cm) so that everyone will find a place. There is an easy access to the terrace from the restaurant. The public toilets of the hotel are also equipped with support bars so that everyone can use them without any problem.

Parking

What about parking? Ten parking spaces are reserved for our guests with reduced mobility. They are located near the elevators so that our guests can access the hotel more easily. The modified elevators have wide doors, are equipped with a ramp, and lower positioned operating buttons - 90 cm high.

Emergency plan

In the event of an incident, we have put in place an internal procedure in order to locate the customer as quickly as possible and to react in case of evacuation of the hotel.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are more than welcome at Thon Hotel EU.
