What is THON+?

On 16 November, THON DISCOVERY is changing its name to THON+. The new loyalty programme will meet our members' needs in a new, simpler and better way. THON+ members enjoy a number of benefits, such as exclusive offers, upgrades, local experiences, bonus points and welcome gifts. What happens to my membership and benefits?

As a member of THON+, you have the same membership number as before and will still receive the same excellent benefits at Thon Hotels. All bonus points and valid overnight stays earned in Thon DISCOVERY will also be automatically transferred to THON+.

What happens to my local experience?

Members who have earned a local experience through their DISCOVERY membership are automatically awarded a THON+ experience that is valid for one year. The new THON+ experience can be redeemed at all of our Thon hotels. To make things even easier, we’ve also removed the level limitation, so you can freely choose between all the experiences we offer. Can I still earn SAS EuroBonus points?

Yes, we still have a partnership agreement with SAS and as a member, you can choose between THON+ bonus points and SAS EuroBonus points at check-in. Members earn 500 bonus points per night in SAS EuroBonus. 

Is THON+ still part of the Global Hotel Alliance?

From the launch of THON+ on 16 November, Thon Hotels will no longer be part of the hotel chains in the DISCOVERY portfolio. However, Thon DISCOVERY members retain their DISCOVERY membership and are free to take advantage of the benefits offered by the other hotel chains in the DISCOVERY portfolio.
